Outdated Product
An inverter-type online Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) without built-in batteries that outputs a pure sine wave and is equipped with an LCD display with dual management interfaces. The manufacturer positions it as a mid-priced product designed for high-quality backup power for server and networking equipment. The product line offers options with capacities of 1000, 2000, and 3000 VA. The nominal power of the RITAR PT-1KL-LCD UPS is 900 W with a peak of 1000 VA, which is sufficient for reliable power to entry-level servers, workstations, and telecommunications equipment. The key feature of the model is its online topology with continuous double energy conversion, completely isolating connected loads from any power grid problems: voltage spikes, interference, and frequency distortions....The design allows operation with external batteries with a voltage of 24 V, with the autonomy time depending on the capacity of the connected batteries. The bypass system provides a direct connection of the load to the network during overload or UPS failure. The cold start function allows the equipment to start when there is no power in the network. Management and monitoring are performed via RS-232 and USB interfaces, allowing for the configuration of operating parameters and tracking of the system status from a computer.

Precise Continuous Control

The RITAR PT-1KL-LCD 1000 VA UPS provides stable output voltage in online mode thanks to inverter technology. The model is suitable for home and office use, supports an active load of up to 900 W, and produces a pure sine wave. This option is relevant for power grids with unstable parameters, as well as for sensitive equipment: medical devices, audio equipment, musical equipment, computers, and LED lighting. The permissible input voltage range is 140–290 V. The protection system includes noise filtering and short-circuit prevention. In case of overload, the UPS automatically switches to bypass mode, which can also be activated manually. A display is provided for monitoring operating parameters, while RS232 and USB-B interfaces enable remote monitoring. Additionally, the device can protect a telephone line from voltage surges and electromagnetic interference.

Backup Power Expansion Capability

The model has no built-in battery, so backup power is not available out of the box. However, the UPS supports the connection of external batteries, and the required cables are included. The user can select the battery capacity independently based on the required backup runtime. The system is designed for 24 V, which can also be achieved by connecting two 12 V batteries in series. There are two European sockets with backup power on the rear panel, so no special cables or adapters are required to connect standard household and computer equipment.
