Despite its compactness, the robot has a built-in dust collector-cyclone with a volume of as much as 4.8 liters — which the classic large model cannot always boast of. The model consumes only 55 W, while it can be controlled from the Internet.
The vacuum cleaner can clean according to a schedule — you just need to set the cleaning time; remembers the "map" of the apartment, feels and goes around obstacles — even thresholds up to 20 mm high are not afraid of him. The smart machine is equipped with a polisher mode and does not get stuck under furniture, which also protects it from external damage. The Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner 2 robot vacuum cleaner has a fine cleaning filter — HEPA, so it traps the smallest dust particles.

Initially, I was skeptical about robot vacuum cleaners in general, but after seeing this miracle at my friends' place, we also decided to get one for ourselves:) It turned out to be a necessary thing in the house, especially if you have pets. Setting it up in the Mi Home app is simple, taking just a couple of minutes. During the first run, it drives around, creating a map of the room (it's best to remove any unnecessary items from the floor here). If it doesn't go into certain corners right away, you can help it in manual mode via the app, and from then on, it will go there on its own. In subsequent runs, it already "knows" where to go, and the cleaning process becomes quick. However, if, for example, the sofa is extended and it mapped the room with it folded, it will start mapping the room again. There are 4 suction power modes, and even on the most powerful setting, it is noticeably quieter than the average vacuum cleaner. It also automatically increases power when it senses it's on a carpet. Thanks to the turbo brush, it cleans carpets very well. The dust container is easy to clean, and it is also advisable to rinse the filter. Of course, it's not suitable for deep cleaning, but for maintaining cleanliness, it's perfect. I bought it to tidy up the mess that the kids bring in from the street to the living room and hallway in the fall and winter. I didn't intend to clean the entire apartment. Therefore, I'm completely satisfied with the robot. I run it a couple of times a week for zonal cleaning. And very rarely for a full cleaning, usually after guests. I managed to change the voice pack myself, but with new firmware it's hard to obtain the robot's token. And this needs to be done on an old version of Mi Home on a rooted phone. So don't get too hopeful that "I'll just easily reflash it". Besides, the Ukrainian pack available online is incomplete, some phrases are not translated. It only got stuck once when we forgot to pick up a cloth from the floor and it tangled it in the brush. But nothing serious happened. It stopped and whimpered "master, save me!". Took the cloth out of it and it continued cleaning. The container is easy to clean. The brushes and wheels from hair are not so easy, but this doesn't need to be done often, and the robot is easy to disassemble. Therefore, removing all the brushes and wheels is not a problem, you just need to cut the accumulated hair off them. It cleans well in the area it reaches, but to the corners where it can't go, it won't clean. The wet cleaning is also done well. It's not loud. Thanks to the LiDAR, it doesn't get stuck, and no additional beacons are needed for it to return to the base. It builds a map of the home and always knows how to return for charging. The small charging base is also a plus. It's convenient to control from your phone — you set what you want to clean on the map, and it goes. The second generation of the Xiaomi robot vacuum cleaner outwardly differs little from its predecessor Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum Cleaner: only the position of the main controls on the front of the device has been changed. But in functional terms, the difference is easy to detect. The vacuum cleaner has become lighter (3.5 kg), quieter (noise level 67 dB instead of 72 dB) and faster in operation, and also supports floor polisher mode. To implement this function, a special water tank and microfibre are provided on the bottom of the device. Every hour it is recommended to change the liquid and clean the sponge, and the overall effect is closer to wiping the floor to moisten, rather than a full-fledged wash.
