Two Lids in the Set
One of the advantages of the one-liter thermos from the Rockland brand is the extended set, which includes two lids with valves. Good Insulation
The Rockland Astro 1000 ml model is designed in a classic elongated shape and measures 310×84 mm. The flask and body are made of 18/8 stainless steel, and temperature maintenance is ensured by vacuum insulation. A test with boiling water at room temperature showed excellent results — after 24 hours, the water remained hot, around 64 °C. For the Astro 500 ml version, the manufacturer guarantees temperature retention up to 55 °C after a day. These indicators confirm that the thermos effectively retains heat.
Minor drawbacks include a slight plastic smell in the first few days of use, which disappears over time, and a not-so-durable powder coating — scratches quickly appear on the bottom even during home use.
