The undemanding "heat fighter" from the domestic Rotex outwardly differs little from its budget counterparts. Nevertheless, the model's arsenal of functions includes some interesting features that significantly enhance the fan's appeal in the eyes of potential buyers.
Three Speeds
The Rotex RAF49-E is based on an axial mechanism with a large four-blade propeller, for which 3 rotation speeds are provided. At low speeds, the fan creates a gentle breeze in the room, while at high speeds its blades, "under the cover" of a metal grid, easily blow paper items out of their path. The device "searches for a target" by independently turning its "head," ensuring the even distribution of air flows across the entire perimeter of a small room (15-20 sq.m).
Mechanical Timer
Accompanying the blade rotation speed switch buttons on the control panel is a rotary mechanical timer knob. It allows you to set the fan's shutdown time up to 1 hour (with increments of 10 min.). One of the model's drawbacks is closely related to the timer—many owners complain about the overly tight movement of the knob.
