Model overview based on user reviews
The Round VMR water heater series offers various models, including capacities of 50, 80, and 100 liters. Users appreciate its fast heating and ability to retain heat well, making it suitable for multiple showers or a full bath. However, some users find the temperature adjustment unclear and inconvenient, requiring tools to access the settings. The build quality has mixed reviews, with some experiencing leaks and others noting the affordability and reliability over long periods. The heating speed is a common concern, as it can be slow, especially for larger models. Despite these issues, many users find it a cost-effective solution for their needs, particularly when budget constraints are a factor. Overall, while the Round VMR series has its drawbacks, it remains a popular choice for those seeking a balance between price and functionality.

i suggest looking at other options because this boiler should be cheaper.
30 June 2025
We've been using this boiler at the cottage for about 5-6 years. During the entire time, there have been no issues with "leaks" or other breakdowns. And considering that our water is pretty dirty. However, it's worth considering other options because there are enough downsides: it takes a very long time to heat the water, the water temperature indicator has been inaccurate from the first days of use, showing that the water is hot when it is not. You can only rely on the light that goes out when the boiler has finished heating the water. The water is enough for a maximum of two people, assuming the boiler was fully heated, and even then, only if they take very quick showers. Only one person can take a satisfying shower (well, maybe with a cat), and the next person will have to wait 3-4 hours for the boiler to heat up again. Or even if you take a very quick shower, the second person must go practically immediately because the boiler starts to fill with cold water, mix it with the remaining hot water, and then takes a very long time to heat again.
Heating water
Heats water very slowly, the temperature indicator is inaccurate.

the price does not justify the quality
17 March 2011
The impression is somewhat "Chinese," everything seems cheap, plastic, wires hanging on the light bulb; for that price, better to get some "Thermex" and for 80 liters. And 50 is just for washing dishes and 2 socks!
no
to increase the heating, you need to run to the pantry for a screwdriver to unscrew the bolt on the plastic cover, then turn some incomprehensible "pin" which has no indication of which direction to turn. PRICE-EXPENSIVE, for such a tank.

great model, love it
23 April 2014
i bought the Round 80/Pf water heater last fall, after 9 months of use I can say it's good. It heats water quickly, in 2.2-2.8 hours. You can immediately take a full bath or 2-3 showers. After that, someone can take a shower again in 1.5 hours. To save electricity, I turn off the heating at night. But in the morning, you can comfortably take a shower. It retains heat well.
fast heating, retains heat
yeah, no, I guess.
