Rowenta offers an expensive, but not quite ordinary curling iron just for those who love doing hairstyles and at the same time take care of the health of their hair. It has a steam function that saturates the strands with moisture. To do this, instead of a tip, a water tank is used, which steams the hair during curling from 48 micro-holes. It does not burn the hands, and the curls really become alive, elastic and shiny. You can choose not to use this feature if you wish. But there is one caveat: the tank is small, so it will have to be filled several times, especially if you have long hair. This increases the styling time, and the cap itself heats up and can burn your hands. The manufacturer even advises to let the device cool down before filling or emptying the tank, which is an additional 10 to 15 minutes.

Coating and temperature

The diameter of the curling iron itself is 25 mm. Coating ceramic Cashmere Keratin, saturated with argan oil for the beauty and radiance of hair. The device is ready to work in 45 seconds and has 8 temperature modes — from 130 to 200 degrees. And so that the strand does not overheat, there is a timer for 5, 8 or 10 seconds: after this time, you will hear a sound signal that notifies you that it is time to remove the curl. For light curls, use the minimum time, for denser and more elastic — the maximum.

Information about the selected temperature mode and timer settings is displayed on the LCD display. So that the buttons are not accidentally pressed during curling, they can be blocked. In addition, the styler received an auto-off function after 60 minutes, a heating indicator and a rotating cord 1.8 m long.
