After our old faucet, which had served us for decades and came with specific usage conditions, broke down, it wasn't surprising that I personally wanted to find the closest replica of the previous model. It wasn't about the brand. 1. A swivel spout was important. 2. The spout's length and its angle needed to direct the water flow to the middle of the sink (about 17 cm). 3. Okay, I might have fibbed about the brand thing; European origin was a priority. 4. I'm not even mentioning the single-lever design—there's a reason this template outlasted dual-handle faucets (unless you're into retro styles). There weren't many models that met these criteria. Even market leaders Grohe couldn't offer anything at that time (a year ago). I ended up choosing an unknown brand, Rubineta, with the Static-19 faucet, which fitted my requirements. The only thing that concerned me was the unfamiliarity with the Lithuanian brand (to me) and its price, which was close to German brands. But the purchase definitely pleased me. Easy installation, a completely disassemblable faucet with no hidden problems (unlike Grohe), long 60 cm hoses, stylish base, heavy, which means quality and good metal. And a year later, after wiping it with a cloth, it looks just like in the photo, which is excellent. In terms of quality, I would rate it on the same level as Grohe.
