We received the convector as a gift. It was given to us by grandparents eagerly awaiting the birth of a long-anticipated grandson. So that the grandson wouldn't get too cold in winter, they bought this wonderful heater. I, in turn, mounted it on the wall, connected it, and we started using it with pleasure as early as September. Electricity, of course, is quite expensive nowadays. But what can we do, while our son is only three months old, we will warm the air by any means necessary to keep the little one comfortable. In terms of efficiency, i.e., the coefficient of performance, it is no less effective than an oil radiator, but it surpasses it in other aspects. Firstly, this convector heats the air faster because it doesn't need to heat up a mass of metal and a significant volume of oil. Secondly, its casing is not as hot to the touch; while you can easily get burned on an oil radiator running at full capacity, here the metal casing heats up to 50-55 degrees, making it completely safe to touch. Thirdly, the electronic control of this convector surpasses everything I've seen on other heaters by a mile. It has multiple power regulation steps, allowing for energy savings, precise temperature settings (I checked with an accurate mercury thermometer, and it really is accurate), and a timer to turn the convector on and off at precise times. All of this can be configured remotely with a remote control. The convector's appearance is excellent – the front panel is made of tempered glass, which is durable and looks fantastic. You can't turn off the glowing elements on the control panel. The baby doesn't mind, but my wife, who lies on the couch nearby, suffers from their bright light. We have to temporarily cover them with dark-colored PVC adhesive, but it looks quite tacky, as you can imagine. |
