Schwinn Sivica 7 2019

Bicycles under the sign of the American brand Schwinn have been traveling around the expanses of our planet since the end of the 19th century. At one time, the company also had a hand in the emergence and establishment of a caste of cruisers — "city dwellers" of increased comfort. One of them in a modern guise is the city dweller Sivica 7 from the 2019 model range.

Comfort above all

Citybike got hold of a frame of male geometry with an increased wheelbase and a slightly forward carriage assembly(relative to the seat tube). Together with a soft saddle and a curved handlebar, these design features of the “building” of the bike favorably affect the notorious landing comfort. Another integral attribute of a self-respecting city dweller is a folding step for the convenience of setting the “two-wheeled horse” into the parking lot.

Chassis

Excellent driving performance of the model is provided by 26-inch wheels with double aluminium rims Alex DC-26. They come with city tyres from homegrown stocks of the American cycling brand — Schwinn Classic. The fastening of the front and rear hubs of the bicycle is made under the eccentric. Simply put, its wheels are easy to remove. As brakes, the city bike got rim mechanical "vi-breaks" of the simplest design.

Big city dweller

The entry-level Shimano Tourney 7-speed transmission helps the rider adjust to urban terrain. The cables from it are launched to the Revoshift shifters on the handlebars directly in the cavity of the upper tube of the frame, which reduces the risk of catching clothes on them or damaging them during falls. In the rest, the model will not get lost in the conditions of the metropolis, providing its owner with the comfort of traveling in the urban rhythm.
