We purchased this rice cooker to make sushi at home. My wife used to work at a sushi restaurant, so she had experience in preparing them. The only thing that often let us down was cooking rice in a pot, as it was difficult to make it just right. We decided to choose a rice cooker, and among all the models, we decided to pick this one because it looked the most "professional" among the other models in the available price range. Looks quite nice. It fit into our kitchen without any problems. The menu is more or less understandable; once you figure it out, you can start cooking "in 2 clicks." The manual is not very clear, and some points are poorly explained. It cooks rice well, but you need to wait on the special "keep warm" program after cooking. Also, you need to choose the right water-to-rice ratio, because according to what was written in the manual, it didn't turn out very tasty. Now we add a little more water and wait another 20 minutes after finishing in the rice cooker. Overall, we are satisfied with the rice cooker. There was no foreign smell or taste in the rice. The rice doesn't stick to the bowl and separates easily from it. We haven't tried cooking other dishes in it, although the menu allows it.
