1. During active humidification mode, the device makes a bubbling noise. Neither I nor my wife can fall asleep with this sound.
2. When the Ionization mode is on, the device makes an unpleasant sound, similar to crackling. And while we were willing to turn off this mode at night, there's no way to resolve the problem in the first point.
3. In modes above the quietest one, once or twice the humidifier made a very loud and unpleasant noise, which was not just from strong airflow, but an unbearable atypical noise, even during the day it was unbearable. I checked the water, switched modes, nothing helped. Only after several hours in quiet work mode did the humidifier stop making this noise in active modes.
4. There are many other non-critical drawbacks that could be described, but I see no point anymore - Sharp brand no longer exists for me. Interestingly, we also have a refrigerator, and it has been constantly noisy for 8 years.
