If you do not want to attract attention from the street, you will not find a better solution than a DVR on the rearview mirror. A balanced model of such a video recording of the traffic situation is presented in the portfolio of the Sho-Me brand. She was assigned the index SFHD-590.
360° view
Structurally , the car recorder consists of a rear-view mirror with a touch screen in the entire plane of the reflective surface (9.66"), a remote camera for “covering the rear” and a long wire through which power is supplied from the cigarette lighter socket. Video recording is given to the head module of the device in Full HD resolution — 1920x1080 pixels at 30 fps. The rear camera shoots a video sequence of 720x480 pixels. In daylight, car numbers, markings and road signs are clearly visible in the frame, but at night the image quality from both cameras of the car recorder drops.
Sensitive G-sensor
The model is equipped with a G-sensor with adjustable response sensitivity. It automatically protects the current video file from being overwritten during dangerous manoeuvres, sudden braking and all kinds of traffic incidents. Sho-Me SFHD-590 also records while the vehicle is parked, including video recording when movements are detected in the frame.
Loop recording
In addition to the drop in the quality of night shooting, the flaws of the model determine the small maximum volume of compatible microSD memory cards — only 32 GB. However, loop recording with a minimum timecode helps out, thanks to which new clips are recorded over old ones. This is how the lion's share of car recorders works, and even some action cameras with the function of video recording of traffic situations.
