Description of the flash EF 500 DG ST

The EF 500 DG ST flash head rotates both horizontally (left 180 degrees, right 90 degrees) and vertically (down 7 degrees, up 90 degrees) planes. The flash angle is automatically matched to the focal length of the lens in the range from 28 mm to 105 mm, and if necessary, it is possible to set the focal length value manually. The wide-angle diffuser built into the flash head allows the flash to be used with lenses having a focal length of 17mm.

Depending on the goals and objectives of the survey, as well as the type of equipment used, you can select the pulse power control mode. The choice is possible between TTL-automatic and manual modes. There is also a 3D multi-sensor balanced fill flash function.

In manual mode, the power changes in the range from 1/1 to 1/16 in 2 steps. The focal length can be seen on the indicator panel, and the flash ready signal is also visible. The EF-500 DG ST contains an automatic shutdown function.
