After the resounding success of the SRS-X3, the Japanese manufacturer launched another model in the series, the SRS-X33. The device features the Omnibalance signature design with black rounded edges of smooth surfaces, which has been a hallmark of SONY since 2013. Available in four colours: black, white, red and blue.

The controls are located on the top panel, which feels like soft rubber. The front and back of the device is covered with metal bars. On the bottom of the body of smooth matte plastic is a reset button. Six rubber feet are responsible for stability.

The sound quality of the SRS-X33 is ensured by state-of-the-art LDAC, DSEE and ClearAudio+ audio transmission and playback technologies. Dual 10-watt passive-radiator drivers deliver powerful bass-heavy sound. The bass is so strong that the speaker trembles and pulsates, but without unpleasant rattling. Weak hiss of the upper frequencies is removed by the equalizer settings, and the most balanced sound and maximum comfort from background listening are provided at a volume level of 40%. An interesting "feature" of the speaker is the expansion of the stereo base, implemented by the Sound button.

The SRS-X33 battery can be charged from the mains or via USB. In the first case, charging will take 1.5-2 hours, and in the second - from 2 to 5 hours. The battery charge is enough for up to 12 hours of battery life! The level is monitored by an orange indicator located on the top panel of the speaker.

Powerful sound, compact size, long battery life and a Bluetooth 3.0 range of up to 10 metres line-of-sight will surely appeal to fans of outdoor activities and travel.
