Active headphones for shooters, military, police and others who use firearms in indoor or outdoor shooting ranges. They perform two functions: they provide hearing protection by muffling loud impulse sounds (NRR 21 dB) and amplify relatively quiet sounds so that the user can hear commands and instructions and navigate their surroundings without removing the headphones from their heads. The active system consists of two omnidirectional microphones built into ear cups, two speakers and a digital processor that processes and amplifies incoming signals. You can change the volume level and switch operating modes of the Sordin Supreme MIL AUX headphones using the buttons on the left earcup. The AUX input allows you to connect a walkie-talkie or other external audio source (audio cable included)....The active system is powered by two AAA batteries (providing up to 600 hours of operation, depending on the frequency and intensity of sounds). The headphones have good protection from dust and moisture (IP67 class) and meet military standards MIL-STD-810g and EMC-MIL-STD-461G.
