Thrifty Germans

SpeedLink Quinox Pro is the flagship gamepad of the German gaming device manufacturer. It is a direct competitor to the Razer Sabertooth and Xbox One Wireless Controller Elite, but at the same time it costs significantly less.

Always on a leash

It connects to the Quinox Pro computer exclusively via cable, which is a little frustrating, because many people like the ability to play wirelessly in front of the TV. The wire always crawls under the fingers, making it difficult to quickly press the triggers and bumpers, and even dragging along the floor. It would be better if the manufacturer implemented two connection options: wireless, like SpeedLink Torid, for single-player games, and wired for multiplayer games, where maximum response speed is important. Fortunately, this is where the cons of Quinox Pro end and solid pluses begin.

Play tirelessly

The wire is three metres long and in a fabric braid to protect against fracture. The sticks are highly sensitive and practically devoid of "dead zones" (angles of deflection at which the gamepad does not respond to pressing). The triggers are long and soft, the finger does not get tired even after long pressing the “gas pedal” into the floor in car racing games. The D-Pad is made with four separate buttons, and not one solid one, which eliminates accidental pressing.

One step ahead

In addition, the SpeedLink Quinox Pro has six additional buttons and an OLED screen for easy programming. You can assign any key combinations to them, whether it's super strikes in fighting games or feints in football simulators. Thanks to this, you will have a tangible advantage over your rivals in multiplayer games.
