Nice receiver color. After the first launch, I poisoned the air from under the heads, disassembled the terrible quality, rubbed all the planes to the mirror for two days. Piston diameter 51 mm. Productivity of 400 l / min is a huge lie. After all manipulations, the output was 152 l / min. I bought a pulley for 100mm (native 75mm) and started pumping a little and got 191 l / min, but the piston began to warm up. Now I'm thinking of buying another head with at least 65 mm pistons. I also forgot to change the capacitors, the worker set it to 50 (native 30), the starting one to 180 (native 150), the engine began to work more fun.  Igor: |

The Stal brand is Ukrainian, but it uses Chinese production facilities. This allows us to produce inexpensive compressors adapted to the needs of the east european consumer. Buying the KSR-04/50 model will cost only $200, but it will be a useful purchase for both east european and professional purposes.
Ergonomics
The receiver has a horizontal arrangement, due to which the whole structure does not look bulky (88.5x41.5x72.5 cm). Weight, as for a model with a 50-liter tank, is also not large, only 53.6 kg, in addition, there is a handle and a wheelbase for easy movement. The tank of a receiver has anticorrosive processing. In general, there are no questions about ergonomics and appearance, the assembly is solid, the painting is of high quality.
Productivity
The heart of the compressor is a 2.2 kW electric motor, providing up to 400 L/min at the inlet and up to 300 at the outlet at a maximum working pressure of 8 atmospheres. These parameters are enough to ensure work with most pneumatic tools, including HVLP spray guns, however, not all of them. The model supports the simultaneous connection of two devices through quick connectors.
Overload protection
Two pressure gauges help control the pressure in the receiver and outlet, and the reducer helps to regulate its level for a specific device. It is recommended to clean the air filter every 100 hours of operation, and in conditions of increased pollution — every 50. But the first time you need to change the compressor oil and clean the crankcase after 10 hours of operation.
The restart system protects the unit from overload, and the resulting condensate is easily removed through the drain valve at the bottom of the receiver.
In general, Stal KSR-04/50 is a performant and easy-to-use compressor model for little money, which in the professional field will serve without problems for more than 2 years with daily use. And let's not talk about east european needs.
