Outdated Product
Multifunctional and at the same time very compact, even by the standards of desktop models, an electric oven from the popular German brand Steba. This product takes up a minimum of space in the kitchen, but at the same time it can easily cope with all the classic baked dishes. The medium power model (1500W) heats up to 230°C and is equally good at cooking pastries, meat and fish. The oven is equipped with a grill, which helps to achieve the desired golden crust on the dishes, as well as a convection system, which makes sure that the distribution of hot air is as uniform as possible. The Steba KB 28 electric oven comes with a skewer on which you can bake chicken or large pieces of meat. The working chamber with a volume of only 28 liters is equipped with three levels of shelves. At the bott...om there is a crumb collection tray, thanks to which the fallen food remains will not burn, but will be collected in one place, which simplifies subsequent cleaning. Double-layer glass on the door allows you to visually control the degree of readiness of the dish. The inner walls of the chamber are covered with a special non-stick coating.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Mini Oven Steba KB 28 is appreciated for its aesthetic design, compact size, and functionality, featuring a backlit interior, easy-to-clean surfaces, and a double glass door. However, users have noted a significant issue with the discrepancy between the actual operating temperature and the temperature scale, necessitating the purchase of an additional oven thermometer for accurate cooking. The oven's chamber size is somewhat inconvenient, as standard baking sheets and muffin tins do not fit well. The upper temperature threshold is limited to 230 degrees, which may not suffice for certain baking needs. Some users experienced issues with the oven's durability, such as the pan swelling and the timer malfunctioning. Despite these drawbacks, the oven is considered a good option in its price category, with some users recommending it for its design and ease of use, while others suggest exploring alternative options.

A good option in its price category, but not ideal.

Overall, the oven is good - well made, works properly (every day for 6 months). The discrepancy between the actual temperatures and the stated ones is a significant problem and a reason to contact the service center, but I bought an oven thermometer and use it as a guide, and max 200 degrees is enough for me for now (although for those who are planning, it’s not enough for baking bread). The height space is not enough for me - not all molds with a lid fit (I think an additional 6 liters of volume would come in handy). In a delongi of similar displacement, in my opinion, the chamber was more spacious. But for tall containers I use a Hotter air fryer with an expansion ring.
Aesthetic, compact, functional, backlit, easy to clean, double glass door, low minimum temperature threshold, high-quality assembly.
The discrepancy between the actual operating temperature and the temperature scale is a VERY SIGNIFICANT DISADVANTAGE - you need to purchase an additional oven thermometer to control the cooking temperature), inconvenient chamber size (standard baking sheets and 12 muffin tins are too small to fit into the grooves, but too big to fit on the included rack without distortion - it can be treated by unclenching or tightening the sides of the molds to the size of the oven), low upper temperature threshold of 230 degrees (I actually have top-bottom 210, with convection - 180), lack of bottom-convection mode.

We bought a stove and made a big mistake; for that kind of money we could have done better. As in the previous review, I can say that the temperature does not correspond to the temperature stated on the scale. We bought an oven for pies and other baked goods. The pies turn out white and don’t brown at all, and if you leave them longer, they turn out dry. I do not recommend this oven!

We bought it and immediately regretted it. After 2 weeks, drops of fat caused the pan to swell with bubbles and fly off. The workshop said that this is not a warranty case, because... They brought it already washed and wiped, but they had to bring it dirty and show the swollen bubbles. I wanted to order a new one, but after 2 weeks they called and said that they were not there and would not be available. After 2 months the timer broke. You have to turn it on and off manually. And a month after cooking, some of the fat from the stove ended up on the table under the stove. It's not easy to wash. The fat eats into the walls almost tightly. Doesn't hold the set temperature. I'll try to pass it if possible. I don't want this anymore.
Nothing.
