STELS Navigator 400 MD 24 2018

The STELS trademark belongs to the Russian company Velomotors, which has been manufacturing bicycles for over 20 years. The Navigator 40 MD 24 2018 model is a universal novelty for both boys and girls from 130 to 150 cm tall.

Brightness

The steel frame of the bicycle is offered in two colour options: red-blue and green-blue. The rim and saddle are also painted, so the appearance of the model is quite bright and attractive. The simple and comfortable frame geometry makes it easy to jump off the bike. Plastic fenders over the 24-inch wheels protect against splashes and gravel, but can be easily removed if desired.

Technical capabilities

An 18-speed 3x6 transmission with a trigger shifter, a 40mm-travel spring-elastomer front fork, and medium tread tyres make for comfortable city and park riding, but deep potholes will be tough on this bike.

What will really please young velobikers are the disc brakes. Now you don’t have to be afraid of wet weather and puddle driving when the rim brake does not work well due to the deterioration of friction between the pad and the rim. Disc brakes serve confidently and reliably under any conditions.

The chain guard protects against dirt and accidental clothing, while the bell will alert other road users to your presence. Given the presence of both, it is not entirely clear why the footboard was forgotten. She, too, would not be superfluous.

The weight of the bike at 15.8 kg, taking into account all of the above, can be considered almost comfortable. At least tall boys, if they have to carry the bike on their hands, can handle it without difficulty.
