I bought it on the last day of the promotion at the Stihl service store in Maloyaroslavets. It's about the same weight as the 250 Stihl. Before that, I had the 180 Stihl, which gave out after 5 years. I use it for building wooden houses.
It's very convenient to start the saw while standing on a stepladder and in tight conditions, when making grooves.
For home use, there's no need to overpay for options. But when using it in construction, it's great that my hands don't hurt. Although it's a bit heavy and slightly weak for cutting horizontally at the ceiling.
Weak points:
1. The upper shock absorber spring broke.
2. Ergostart: The spring broke - I waited 4 months for the order in Russia. I bought a cover with a starter assembly for 3650 rubles.
But in Minsk, it took THREE days on hold at the service store.
3. The bypass vent (cheburashka) got clogged with dust. It is located in the handle below the throttle trigger.
4. The fuel hose at the carburetor is loose: from the tank to the fuel supply.
Loses speed + unstable idle. Stalls.
I'll be replacing the hose to the gas tank.
I repaired everything myself.
I'm satisfied with the saw despite the breakdowns. I don't want to switch to another. I also have the 250 Stihl - but they are different in parameters. They can't be compared.
