The STM Solar car seat is highly recommended for its spacious design and excellent crash test results, making it ideal for larger children. Pros
We bought this chair for a seven-year-old child who is 132 cm tall, weighs about 30 kg, and has a thin build. We chose only from good branded seats with good crash tests. We tried on Romer Kidfix (very small, not roomy, but compact, good for younger children!!!), Concord Transformer T and X-bag (excellent side protection, good headrest, tilt angle does not change, also good for younger children), Cybex Solution Q-Fix (comfortable, but similar to a home sofa))), too bulky, side protection is not very good in my opinion), Recaro Monza Nova 2 Seatfix (one-to-one model like this STM, only more expensive))) and fabric I liked it less). Before this chair, the child was carried in the Cybex Free-fix (a good budget chair, quite roomy). So the choice was made on STM. It turned out to be the most comfortable of all and one of the most spacious (they also tried it on a 10-year-old girl with a height of 140 cm, she was also comfortable, she was not comfortable in any of the other listed chairs, they were small, and this is very convenient in winter clothes and still have a small headroom for height, I think up to 150 cm will be fine for sure). The chair is luxurious, the fabric is very pleasant, like velor or artificial suede, not synthetic like in Cybex (the fabric there is very synthetic), a very comfortable deep headrest (during sleep, the head lies comfortably, does not fall back anywhere), excellent lateral protection. Due to the isofix mounting, the chair can be moved forward a little and you get a small angle of inclination (for Cybex Isofix, crash test results, roomy, wide seat and backrest, deep, ideal for large children, upholstery fabric is very good and pleasant, unlike many others, the ability to slightly recline the backrest for long trips, made in Germany!!! No use STM Solar Seatfix month or more i recommend it should buy |
