Angle grinder Sturm AG9012T miniature even by the standards of the smallest angle grinders. It weighs only 1.7 kg, and thanks to its thin body (7 cm in diameter), it is convenient to hold it with one hand, performing fine cutting and grinding operations. But at the same time, it has decent power — such that the tool almost jumps out of the palm of your hand when you start the engine, which is gaining momentum almost instantly. Therefore, due to the tight start button and the starting jerk at the moment of start, you have to hold the grinder with both hands. Despite 1000 W of power, the tool heats up moderately during operation.

Cheap and cheerful, but enough for the job

This grinder is the embodiment of minimalism (which is quite in the spirit of the Sturm brand tool). This is a simple model without any electronics or protection systems. The package includes only the required elements: a protective cover and a reversible handle. The handle can be screwed in on the left or right, but its orientation (at an overly sharp angle) may not suit users who are used to straight handles. Does not add comfort and a two-metre cord. It is not long enough (only 2 m), and the braid is made of hard plastic, which breaks and solidifies in the cold.

Good grinder for home and garage

The Sturm AG9012T grinder is not suitable for hard work or large-scale construction projects. But for a house, garage or cottage — just right. Where else can you find such a cheap angle grinder with good technical characteristics?
