The model is quite simple and not very powerful, so it's not worth taking it if you plan to cut thick boards with it; for that, circular saws are more suitable than jigsaws.
The jigsaw can be adjusted for tilt, meaning you can set the angle to 45 degrees for angled cuts. There is a ruler-limiter, but no matter how hard you try, cutting straight is quite difficult; you need to have some skill, so first, after you buy it or take it out after long storage, run the jigsaw over some unnecessary surface to remember/learn how to work with it.
You can connect a vacuum cleaner at the back for collecting sawdust. There is lighting for the working surface. Blades are changed easily with one button. We immediately bought Bosch blades, they work great with it.
Overall, a decent option for home to cut not very hard materials, although if done carefully, you can also cut thin metal, just make sure to use the appropriate blades.
