Sven PS-330

The Finnish manufacturer SVEN tried to make the PS-330 portable speaker model as functional and affordable as possible. For only $60 you get not only a handy gadget for playing music, but also a small power bank.

Familiar design, but unusual features

The model is almost one to one similar to the famous JBL Charge 3 : the same barrel-shaped case with two passive radiators on the sides, upholstered in a dense fabric like matting. All inputs and outputs are located at the bottom at the back, control buttons are at the top. But Sven did not experiment with colours — the column is available in a single black version.

Deep bass and wide frequency range

Having saved on design, the manufacturer decided to pamper its buyer with a rich set of options and good sound. Two 7-watt speakers, a 16-watt subwoofer and two passive radiators provide very tight sound in the 60 – 22,000 Hz range with pronounced deep bass and bright highs.

In addition to good sound, the speaker has a full set of connectors: AUX, micro SD slot, USB-Flash, TWS stereo pair mode, speakerphone and the already mentioned power bank function. For this purpose, two 2200 mA batteries are installed in the column.

For a full hardware, only water protection and an FM receiver are missing, but demanding them for 4K rubles would be blasphemy.

Sven PS-330 is a great solution for those who want a powerful speaker with good bass, but are not ready to fork out for JBL.
