This foldable model is positioned as a compact recreational-class device, designed for learning to pilot and performing aerial maneuvers without using video equipment. Its main structural feature is the ability to fold the arms, making the device convenient to transport, while the absence of a camera, unlike the related modification Z4W, allows you to focus solely on flight skills.

Stability in the air is maintained by a 6-axis gyroscope in combination with a barometric sensor, which is responsible for the auto-hover function and eliminates motion blur. The agile Syma Z4 quadcopter (drone) adapts to the pilot's skill level with two speed modes: low (about 7.2 km/h) for smooth flights and high (10.8 km/h) for dynamic piloting. The control system operating at a frequency of 2.4 GHz with a range of up to 30 meters supports one-button takeoff and landing, Headless mode for simplified orientation, as well as performing 3D flips (360-degree rolls).

Special attention is paid to safety: intelligent protection automatically shuts off the propellers when they are mechanically blocked to prevent current overload, and with a low battery level of 0.4 Ah, the drone independently lands to avoid crashing.
