The manufacturer's model Tefal refers to vacuum blenders. Nutrikeep technology is implemented here: a special pump, which is installed on top of the working container, pumps air out of the bowl, as a result of which it is possible to slow down the oxidation processes: fruits and vegetables retain their beneficial properties longer, have a more pleasant taste and look more appetizing.

It is important that Tefal BL 181 supports several operating modes at once. To select them, an intuitive rotary switch is located on the motor base. You can either immediately start vacuum grinding (when making smoothies), or simply pump out the air (for example, for longer storage of chopped vegetables and fruits) or perform normal mixing. In addition, a special programme for crushing ice is also proposed, where a pulse mode and high speeds are activated.

The blender received two travel containers with the same useful volume of 600 mL. Both are complemented by drinking caps, so it is convenient to take a smoothie or other vitamin shake with you both to work and for a run or other workout.

Shakers are made of plastic, which can be cleaned manually or automatically by placing in the dishwasher. But the vacuum pump is recommended to be washed only under running water.
