The Tefal Ultimate series steam iron comes with a rather high price tag, yet it is a powerful model equipped with all the necessary features for effective ironing of various fabric types. It is outfitted with a Durilium AirGlide soleplate, which effortlessly glides in any direction, preventing new wrinkles and creases. The even distribution of steam holes, including on the tip, ensures steaming across the entire soleplate surface and smooths out wrinkles in hard-to-reach areas.

The special Autoclean coating protects against stains and helps maintain the soleplate's original look and condition. A key advantage of the iron is its 3200W power, which ensures quick heating and high steam performance. The Tefal Ultimate Pure FV 9847 delivers steam at a rate of up to 60 g/min, with an intense steam boost for tougher tasks at 260 g/min. This allows the device to quickly smooth dense and multi-layered materials, eliminating even deep wrinkles, as well as effectively steaming garments in an upright position.

Additionally, the anti-drip system prevents water from leaking from the soleplate, and the quite spacious 350 ml tank does not require frequent refilling. The Micro-Calc filter protects against scale build-up, helping maintain high steam performance and extending the appliance's lifespan. The filter is easily removable and cleanable. For safety, the iron features an automatic shut-off function: the device turns off after 8 minutes of inactivity in an upright position or after 30 seconds on the soleplate.
