The funds made it possible not to save on every little thing, so my wife and I chose the sink that we wanted, and not the one that we had enough money for. Teka is a well-known European sanitary ware brand, so buying from them is a guaranteed good choice. By the way, we liked the sink so much that we also bought a Tekovsky mixer for it. My wife really wanted a sink with a large, spacious side "wing," and this is exactly that model. She often uses this side space for cutting meat, fish, or other products, which leave traces that need careful cleaning. Doing so directly on a cutting board, which in turn lies on a well-cleanable surface of polished stainless steel, is convenient, and the subsequent cleanup takes minimal time and effort. I want to praise the quality of the metal. The sink is made of a chromium-nickel alloy, known in domestic classification as corrosion-resistant steel 08Х18Н10Т. This steel maintains its resistance and passivity with any food products. Even strong food acids, like concentrated vinegar or lemon, have no effect on it. The thickness of the sink is substantial, at least the rigidity of the bowl and wing is maintained under any reasonable load. It is equipped with a drainage device with an easily lockable drain valve. My wife praises it highly; in practice, it turned out to be a very convenient feature. The sink comes with a three-year warranty. A week later, the wife began to regret that they took the polished satin version, and not the texture. Satin, of course, hides something, but EVERYTHING is still visible on a smooth surface and her wife has to scrub more often than we would like. |
