How to Choose a Kitchen SinkGuide to choosing a kitchen sink: size, shape, material, installation method and more.
Inexpensive branded sink with convenient drying
26 December 2016
She was chosen for a short time. The Teka brand is known for its quality kitchen sanitary ware and you can buy its products without fear of unpleasant tricks. There was not much money to buy, so granite and other advanced options disappeared by themselves and immediately.
This is a simple and uncomplicated sink with a side table. Of course, there was a temptation to take a fashionable round one, but the wife insisted that such a steel table was extremely useful. It can play the role of drying, because the water that falls on it is sent through the overflow straight into the siphon. The sink was installed in the cutout of the tabletop, we can say that it is both mortise and overhead. Looks nice, especially when new. In a working kitchen, the sink quickly loses its external gloss. Yes, it can be scrubbed daily and indefinitely, but it will never be as beautiful as in the first week after installation. The working surfaces of the metal are finely polished to a matte satin finish. A reasonable decision, and the appearance turns out to be moderately elegant and traces of dried water drops are masked quite well. In my opinion, such a surface is much more practical than the glamorous gloss that many expensive models flaunt. The sink material is not just stainless steel, but its high-quality food variety (X18H10 steel). It has unsurpassed durability in all culinary (and not only) environments, and also boasts high mechanical strength and heat resistance. It’s difficult to name the thickness, but by eye something about 1 millimeter.
In my opinion, the dimensions of the main bowl are a bit small. They would add another eight to ten centimeters in each direction, and it would be just right.
