Which heater to choose: pros and cons, comparison of different typesChoosing the type of heater, comparing the strengths and weaknesses of the options offered today
Model overview based on user reviews
The Termia EVNA1.5/230S 1.5 kW convector heater is a compact and efficient heating solution, ideal for spaces up to 15 m². Users appreciate its affordable price, which competes well against foreign brands, and its quick heating capability. The heater offers two power modes, 1500 W and 750 W, and features a mechanical thermostat for temperature control. It includes overheat protection and is designed to be safe against electric shock. While the design is simple and the body is made of regular steel, it maintains decent rigidity. Some concerns were noted about the open coil design, which may lead to dust burning and potential fire safety issues. Overall, it is considered a reliable and cost-effective choice for domestic use, backed by a five-year warranty.
Pros
Cons
Good machine for home. It has many advantages, among which is a pleasant price, which undoubtedly pleases the domestic consumer. High performance, room heating takes place relatively quickly. The manufacturer claims that it is possible to heat up to 25 sq m, but this is probably a bit overestimated. But on my 18 squares this model is enough. Of the advantages can also be noted compactness, the device in the room takes up little space. Simple, uncomplicated design. During operation, no foreign odors, such as burning, are heard. When you first turned it on, you could hear a small “aromatic” for several minutes, but then everything went away. Subsequently, nothing of the kind was observed. The device practically does not emit extraneous sounds during operation. With the help of a thermostat, you can adjust the required number of degrees. There is protection against overheating, so you can not worry about performance. The device belongs to the class of protected devices against electric shock, this is indicated by the letter S at the end of the abbreviation. That is, it can officially be moved when it is on - it looks more like just a publicity stunt, but there it is. Taking into account the cost, the heating device has no critical drawbacks. I've been using it for less than a month, so I can't talk about reliability yet. use Termia EVNA2.5/230S week |
I was looking for something inexpensive among electric converters and came across a whole range of domestic models. This is the production of the Vinnytsia factory MAYAK, with all the consequences that come with this fact. Among them, there are both quite pleasing aspects and some not so great ones. I installed it in the showroom of my small store and I'm quite satisfied with the purchase. The price is great. After all, our domestic manufacturers currently have a very serious trump card in the battle against foreign competitors. And I see some are using this trump card to the fullest. For this money, you can only buy outright crappy Chinese stuff, and although this convector is also not a masterpiece of engineering and cannot boast the use of ultra-modern technologies and materials, I chose our heater. The body is regular steel. The metal of the body is thin but not too much; at least, it maintains decent rigidity. It can operate in two modes - at full heat output of 1500 W or reduced to 750 W. Additionally, the temperature can be maintained using a mechanical thermostat. It quickly reaches the desired mode, effectively heats the air, ensuring quick warming of the entire room. There is a five-year official warranty. The heater is not tubular, but band-shaped. It is essentially an open coil on a fireproof and heat-resistant base. Dust drawn in with the air joyfully burns on the open coil, and open heating elements are not very good in terms of fire safety either. |
