A good quality tent for its price, but it requires a few minor adjustments. After production was moved to China, the seams became crooked, and that's disappointing. The tent is more suitable for expeditions in terms of weight than for trekking, but if you're ready to carry this weight, the quality and reliability of the tent won't disappoint you. The storm guy lines firmly secure the frame, and any wind and rain will be handled calmly and without unnecessary stress. I recommend purchasing additional pegs for the tent. The quality of the materials is at a high level (I don't understand the comments about poor stitching...). The look of the tent is simply chic, especially in orange color! Inside, the tent is very spacious, the roof doesn't "hang" over your head, but if the tent is designed for 2, it will be comfortable; with 3, it will be a bit tight (after a hard hiking day, I think no one would want to feel their friend's shoulder pressing against them))). The tent is advertised for four people. But it seems to me that it will be a bit cramped for four people. However, I have never used it in this role before. My wife and I always traveled together and there was more than enough space for us. A reliable and well-thought-out tent for a reasonable price. Not heavy, easy to assemble and disassemble. Stable, withstands even very strong gusts of wind. There are many small but easy-to-use parts. The build quality could have been higher. After the purchase, I had to spend some time strengthening the structure - I altered some things, re-glued some things. But as a result, I got a very strong and reliable tent that has withstood a lot of bad weather without any consequences. That is, it turns out that for a lower price I got an excellent tent, which cost me less than analogues from competitors that cost significantly more. The winds are not terrible
The all-season tent of the Ukrainian manufacturer Terra Incognita stands out against the background of expedition analogues by the presence of an external frame, which speeds up assembly and allows, if necessary, to use only an external awning, for example, for organizing a camping warehouse or a mini-dining room.
Another feature of the model is a low profile design (height 105 cm) and a 4-arc aluminium frame with 7 points of pairwise intersection of racks. As a result, there will be no questions about wind resistance even in high mountains, which, by the way, is hinted at by the very name of the tent — TopRock.
Rainfall is not a problem
The model has a traditional two-layer design. The polyester inner tent prevents condensation well. The outer nylon awning is coated with silicone, providing good protection against water (up to 6000 mm): even heavy rainfall or moderate prolonged rain will not lead to leakage.
The bottom of the Terra Incognita TopRock 2 is made from wear-resistant nylon. Its high water resistance (10000 mm) is complemented by a folding protective skirt, which acts as another barrier to rain, wind and dust.
Solution 2+1
The tent is considered a comfortable double solution. At the same time, a rather spacious recreation area (220x165 cm) allows even three tourists to be accommodated (when stacked with a jack). Each of the two entrances is duplicated with a mosquito net and provides its own vestibule of medium size (length 75 cm): they will definitely fit all the equipment of 2-3 people.
As fittings, products of well-known brands are used, including YKK zippers. For the convenience of users, inside there are both pockets and a hanging shelf for small items, as well as a loop for a lantern.
Due to the presence of a reinforced frame, the total weight of the model with pegs and a complete cover reaches 4.65 kg, which is a lot in terms of one person (more than 2.3 kg). But if the priority is reliability and wind resistance, then the Terra Incognita TopRock 2 is one of the best expedition tents for the money.
