Model overview based on user reviews
The Thermalright Macho Rev.B is a highly regarded active cooler designed for processors, offering excellent heat dissipation and easy installation on socket AM4. It effectively handles the thermal demands of processors like the r7 5700x, both in stock and overclocked conditions, maintaining temperatures between 58-71 degrees under stress tests and around 55-60 degrees during gaming. Users appreciate its compliance with the 240 W TDP and its quiet operation with a noise level starting at 15 dB. However, a notable issue is the crooked heel when installing on AM4 sockets, which requires careful positioning. Despite this, the cooler has been praised for its performance and reliability over four years of use, making it a recommended choice for its price point.
