Inexpensive and trouble-free water heating equipment of the Thermex brand enjoys increased attention of the east european consumer. The line of popular electric boilers with a capacity of 80 liters has recently been supplemented by the Thermex Ceramik 80 V model with a glass-ceramic inner coating of a flat steel tank made using Double Tank technology. Bioglass porcelain applied to the inner wall of the tank is firmly bonded to the metal due to its good adhesive properties. The glass-ceramic coating of the tank with antibacterial additives eliminates the possibility of accumulation of harmful microorganisms on the inner walls of the tank, keeping the water clean for a long time, and the built-in magnesium anode protects metal components from corrosion. The high quality of the storage capacity of the boiler allowed the manufacturer to establish a 5-year warranty on it.
Average characteristics
This is a simple and reliable water heater with one TitaniumHeat heating element, made of stainless steel with a high titanium content. The material of the heating element has high thermal and corrosion resistance, strength and durability. The high power of the heating element of 2 kW allows heating water at room temperature to 65 °C within 110 minutes, which is a good performance indicator. The maximum water heating temperature is 75 °C. The heater operates in a three-stage power mode: economical 0.7 kW, standard 1.3 kW and accelerated 2.0 kW. At the same time, the claimed heat losses during the daily period of operation do not exceed 1.6 kWh, and the actual electricity consumption for the year is 566 kWh.
Only vertical
The device is equipped with a mechanical thermostat with buttons for switching power modes, and also has additional protection against electric shock (RCD), overpressure and overheating. The device is designed exclusively for vertical installation and is connected to a water supply system with an operating pressure of 0.5 bar to 7 bar through a branch pipe with connecting dimensions G1/2. The disadvantages of the model include the lack of protective fuses from overpressure and from switching on the device without water.
