Fresh air with heating
Tion Lite differs from most other air handling units in that it is equipped with a built-in electric heater. Thus, it is able to heat the outdoor air entering the room during ventilation to a comfortable temperature. This heater has good power (850 W — like a small fan heater), due to which it can raise the temperature of cold air by up to 25 degrees.
Design and equipment features
Otherwise, Tion Lite is a fairly simple breather with average performance. It has six speeds and a capacity of up to 100 m³ / h (quite enough to ventilate a room in which two or three people live or work). At the first three speeds, the device operates silently. But at the last speed (in the intensive ventilation mode), the noise level reaches 48 dB (at the level of a loud conversation), at which it is already uncomfortable to be in the room. The remote control is not provided. Remote control is only possible with a dedicated smartphone app. Also included is no fine filter. Together with the breather, there is only a G4 class filter element (it retains exceptionally large debris, such as coarse dust, fluff, insects). HEPA fine filter sold separately. It costs about $30 and changes once or twice a year.
Ventilator for Khrushchev
Inexpensive and very compact (the indoor unit measures 260x260x130 mm), the Tion Lite Breezer is a good solution if you have a limited low-cost and not much free space in the room. If there are no size restrictions, then you can look at other ventilators of the same brand. For example, on the Tion O2 Base, which, although larger, cleans the outboard air much better and at the same time costs not much more.
