Model overview based on user reviews
Toshiba Hayabusa is a compact USB 2.0 flash drive with a practical cap design and a lightweight plastic body. Users generally appreciate its construction and secure cap, but write speed is often slow and inconsistent, especially with large or numerous files. Reports on reliability vary significantly, with some users describing stable operation and others experiencing complete failure after limited use.
Pros
Cons
Good cap design Bought a USB flash drive in "Comfy" in Zheltye Vody on 07.09.2013. Immediately when writing a 1.3GB movie the writing speed was 9.3 MB/s, but an hour later when writing a file of the same size the speed dropped to 3.5 MB/s and did not increase again. For a DVD formatted movie, the speed was 1.5 MB/s and there was a 20-second pause before the writing started. The next day, 08.09.2013, I took the flash drive back to the store for a replacement. The local specialist tested it (with identical results) and told me to address complaints to "Toshiba." The office manager said the packaging was breached and the item couldn't be replaced. However, the packaging is designed in such a way that you can't remove the flash drive without damaging it. |
I bought a 32GB flash drive (what a waste of money). Initially planned it for transferring files larger than 4GB, so after unpacking, I formatted it to NTFS. Writing the folder with work files (a lot of them) took a very long time, I thought the speed was slow due to the large number of files. Two days later, I decided to write a 1.5GB movie, and during copying, it gave a write error. So, I decided to revert to FAT32. During formatting, at the end of the process, Windows refused to complete it. The flash drive died completely. I couldn't revive it with any utility. Good design Died after the third connection with the computer |
Just a brand. Toshiba company... I copied a couple of movies once. Transferred them to another computer, then formatted it and that's it... like a Tamagotchi (the little bird), it kicked the bucket... use Toshiba Hayabusa month or more i recommend it don't buy |
