I am an electrician and my job is to maintain a large 110 kV power substation. That is, I work on a day-night-48 schedule. The schedule is good, in principle it suits me very well, but there is one small BUT. The shifts are long, for as long as 12 hours, so you can eat normally only if you take everything with you. And taking lunch or dinner only cold is not very good for my not quite healthy stomach. Therefore, I began to look for a food thermos for myself (there is an electric kettle for making tea at the substation). I chose this steel model and now I enjoy full-fledged delicious homemade dinners. Practical and strong item. Its body and flask are metal and it’s not just ordinary steel, it’s high-quality stainless steel 18-10, from which the right kitchen utensils and even instruments for medical manipulations are made. So you can be sure of the hygienic properties of the metal. The lid is made of the same steel, it stays firmly in place and cannot be accidentally opened. And at the same time, purposefully opening it is not at all difficult. Under the lid, by the way, hides a small plastic plate. The thermos keeps the temperature perfectly, 8-10 hours hot is guaranteed to remain hot. The volume is large, hot, you can load two or even three servings at once. Decently weighs, double metal case after all. I put it on the scales in an empty form and it turned out a little more than seven hundred grams. Well, it's a bit pricey for a thermos. But for yourself, don't feel sorry for yourself))) |

I recommend buying thermoses in the mid-price range. They are more durable than cheap ones, and initially any thermos maintains temperature well (except for defective ones), and the minor difference is not critical, since people usually prepare in the morning and consume around lunchtime. Durable, you can eat from the jar without fear of breaking it. Everyone has their own concept of hot. For me, it means that after 3-4 hours, it scalds your lips, and you have to wait for it to cool down, but after 6 hours, it's at a pleasant, comfortable temperature.
