I recommend getting the TrendVision Drive 700 radar detector.
I bought a radar detector on April 18, 2017, and immediately used it in the car. The effect is amazing; it catches everything, but most importantly, it doesn’t have false alarms for supermarket doors and others. It's made by specialists, not by the Chinese. I believe it has no drawbacks, only advantages.
