Easy Assembly

The Trimm 2 man tent is positioned as an easy to assemble and light weight solution. We can agree with the first statement, because the frame here, although internal, consists of a single fibreglass arc with a quite standard diameter of 8.5 mm. In hot and dry weather Trimm Bivak is proposed to be used without an external awning, which will reduce the number of guys and pegs to fix the latter.

But in terms of light weight, not everything is so simple. Yes, the tent is really not heavy (2.5 kg), but not among the leaders in terms of lightness in the cohort of 2-person trekking solutions.

Rain is not a problem

The manufacturer recommends using the model in the off-season or in the summer. For not the most predictable spring and autumn, it provides a polyester awning well protected from precipitation (water resistance 4000 mm of water column) with glued seams and the most reliable nylon bottom (10000 mm) in this aspect.

And comfortable summer operation will be provided by two entrances, which will allow organizing through ventilation. Plus, there is a large ventilation window under the dome of the inner tent and mosquito nets that protect against annoying insects.

Two vestibules and more

In addition to a couple of entrances, tourists have 2 vestibules at their disposal. They are small (length 53 cm), but they will be enough to accommodate equipment, shoes and other things. Plus, there are also traditional pockets for small things inside the recreation area.

It is interesting that the bedroom here is not the usual rectangular one, but is more similar in shape to a cocoon sleeping bag. In the area of the shoulders, the width of the bedroom is 130 cm (65 cm for one person), but the space narrows to only 60 cm at the feet, and this is already quite cramped.

Anyway, the Trimm Bivak is an interesting choice with good workmanship, decent water resistance and light weight.
