For 17 inch laptops
Trust GXT 220 is a pretty stylish stand designed for laptops with screen sizes up to 17". The active cooling system is implemented in the form of one large cooler with a diameter of 170 mm, which operates at a frequency of up to 1400 rpm, which is a good indicator. The fan creates a minimum of noise, and at the same time cools the laptop well, protecting it from overheating even under increased loads. And thanks to the red fan lighting, the GXT 220 stand looks like a real gaming accessory.
Doesn't slip or wobble
The accessory connects to a laptop via a USB port located on the back of the stand. The cable in the kit is quite long, so the excess wire can be hidden in a special holder on the bottom. The laptop itself is securely fixed on the landing pad and does not slip at all. All this allows, for example, to freely put a stand with a laptop on your stomach and not worry that it will heat up, even if you run a rather demanding game.
One active cooler
The legs here, unfortunately, are not adjustable, which makes it a little difficult to use the stand on soft surfaces. Also, the absence of an additional USB connector is not encouraging. The third point is rather not a minus, but a feature. Due to the fact that there is only one cooler, the main air flow is distributed closer to the centre of the bottom, and reaches the edges more weakly. Because of this feature, the Trust GXT 220 is not very suitable for hot laptops, which get especially hot around the edges. If this is not your case, then take the GXT 220 boldly — the stand turned out to be stylish, comfortable, inexpensive and reliable, as our tests and online reviews say.
