Which heater to choose: pros and cons, comparison of different typesChoosing the type of heater, comparing the strengths and weaknesses of the options offered today
Model overview based on user reviews
The UFO MCH/15 1.5 kW convector heater is a compact and efficient heating solution designed for areas up to 15 m². It features a quick heating capability and includes a thermostat, emergency heating, and ionization functions. The heater is equipped with essential safety features such as overheat protection, waterproofing, and tip-over protection. However, several users have reported issues with the relay, which causes constant clicking sounds and affects the electrical network. Despite these concerns, the device is generally considered decent, with its ability to heat well without drying out the air. The heater is available in white and can be installed on the floor or wall, although it does not come with wheels for floor installation. Overall, while the UFO MCH/15 has some design flaws, it remains a popular choice for its heating efficiency and compact design.

The manufacturer must immediately recall all UFO UST models sold. at the level of shortcomings are invisible. it constantly clicks and has a very bad effect on the electrical network by turning it on and off repeatedly. Repairs involving the replacement of the relay at the service center are ineffective. Obvious miscalculations of the designer. Then an independent examination and to the court. use UFO MCH/15 month or more i recommend it don't buy |
let's see how they do it. heats up quickly, heats well, program according to time and days. when the set temperature is reached, the relay starts clicking endlessly... clicked again, doesn’t work, call for service tomorrow( |
A good convector for heating a medium-sized room. I use it mainly in a room of 17 sq.m., there are no complaints about the operation of the device - it is warm, does not make noise, does not dry out. In addition, at a budget price, it has a built-in ionizer, which, according to the manufacturer, produces negatively charged ions. The wife is firmly convinced that this has a beneficial effect on the well-being of those living in the apartment. Personally, I don’t feel particularly impressive. The convector is compact and does not take up much space. In a small room it is very relevant, especially when compared with the old oil one. Heats the room quickly without drying out the air. At least, I can safely leave the device turned on all night; in the morning I don’t have to ventilate the apartment or turn on the humidifier. Doesn't make any noise during operation, no gurgling or hissing either during startup or after. Normal mechanical switches. Protection from overheating and moisture, periodically I put it on the balcony when I don’t use it for a long time, after which it still turns on normally and works stably without interruptions. If you keep in mind the cost of the model, then the converter has practically no drawbacks. It works fine, heats well - what more could you ask from it? I really didn’t like that the package did not include (!!!) mounts with wheels for installing the heater on the floor. Of course, they are not expensive, I bought them myself, but the fact is still not pleasant. use UFO MCH/20 month or more |
