The affordable 10-inch tablet, 2023 model, belongs to the entry-level price category and is aimed at the most basic home scenarios: reading, streaming video, video calls, web surfing, and messenger communication. The key feature of this model compared to many similarly priced competitors is the support for Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) standard, which ensures more stable connections in crowded apartment networks and significantly increases data transfer speeds when working with modern routers.

The hardware foundation of the UMIDIGI Tab G1 tablet is a quad-core Rockchip RK3562 processor with a frequency of up to 2 GHz and Mali-G52 graphics — this platform is relatively uncommon in the retail tablet segment, originally designed for embedded devices and educational technology. It pairs with 4 GB of LPDDR3 RAM (with virtual expansion capability of an additional 4 GB using storage) and 64 GB of built-in eMMC memory, which is sufficient for basic applications and smooth multitasking with 2-3 simultaneously open programs.

Storage can be expanded with microSD cards up to 1 TB. The 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels delivers a sufficiently even picture for everyday tasks and ensures wide viewing angles. Wired interfaces include a universal USB-C for charging and connecting peripherals, as well as a preserved 3.5 mm audio jack for working with wired headphones without adapters.
