Component acoustic system Ural AK-74.C provides high-quality sound and good bass response at an affordable price. It perfectly handles with the tasks set, both when working from a conventional “head”, and as part of powerful audio systems using an amplifier.

Golden mean

According to the "passport" acoustics is the "golden mean" among peers. It covers a frequency range from 45 Hz to 22 kHz, has a sensitivity of 91 dB and delivers 105 watts RMS audio power. Structurally, the Ural AK-74.C consists of a three-layer polymer-coated cellulose-based cone and a 25 mm silk dome tweeter for high-frequency reproduction.

First order crossover

Unlike many colleagues in the component car acoustics workshop, the model is not equipped with an external crossover. Instead, a non-polar capacitor is used here, soldered in the speaker wiring harness. It is connected in series with the tweeter and acts as a first order crossover for the tweeter. The midbasses of the Ural AK-74.C work in full range.

Crimp terminals

Of the interesting things in acoustics, spring-type clamping terminals are provided, which are not subject to corrosion and provide reliable contact with connecting wires. The Ural AK-74.C is characterized by a detailed sound in all registers with rich low frequencies. But without fanaticism — for "piling up the bass" it is better to get a good subwoofer.
