The mid-budget wireless bike computer from VDO is a good companion for users who prefer riding in hilly or mountainous terrain. One of the features of the model is a built-in altimeter with a barometer: these sensors allow you to record the current altitude above sea level, determine the slope of the route (gradient in percent), as well as the maximum and total ascent, both for one workout and for the entire time.

The VDO R3 WL bike computer also provides a thermometer for monitoring the air temperature, and the wheel speed sensor allows you to collect traditional data - speed, distance, etc. Additionally, it can display personal statistics by month for a year, displaying, among other things, the total mileage and ascent for this period of time. The model can be used on two bicycles - after preliminary setup, the system will recognize the vehicle and record data on the desired profile. You can also connect a cadence sensor to the device to analyze the pedaling frequency (purchased separately). Additional features include a 3-line display, waterproof housing (IPX7 class), battery power with up to 3 years of autonomy (with low battery indicator) and non-volatile memory (personal statistics are not lost when replacing batteries).
