I took this scope for archery. Intentionally chose one with a reticle for marksman-style shooting. In a past comment on a different scope, I mentioned that I didn't like the turrets, but in my case, I only used them for sighting in at 100 meters. The rest is exclusively with the reticle. I got it for training and recreational purposes. It handles .223 without any problems. The scope hasn't been in any extreme conditions. Overall, I recommend it; the quality is decent. For military purposes, it's probably better to look for something more branded. This is purely a civilian scope. Not bad quality, price, extensive grid, backlight The color is completely different from reality. It has a strong purple hue with a hint of who knows what. I was already thinking of putting it in a UV bath to fade the color intensity. But I left it as is, it fades on its own in the sunlight.
