How to choose a projectorType, projection characteristics, type of lamp and matrix, as well as other criteria for choosing a projector

What to choose: a projector or a TV?Let's figure out when it's better to get a projector and when a TV
Model overview based on user reviews
The Viewsonic PJD7820HD projector offers good image quality and high brightness, making it suitable for viewing even in daylight. It is well-assembled and equipped with all necessary ports, although its appearance is quite simple. A significant drawback is its extreme noise level in normal mode, which can interfere with movie watching, though the eco mode reduces this issue. While not all settings are accessible directly on the projector, this is a minor inconvenience. Overall, it's a decent choice for a home theater, providing satisfactory performance for various content types. The price is reasonable, though it might be cheaper abroad.
Pros
Cons
I've long dreamed of having a good projector for a home theater. I took my time choosing and was quite picky. I ended up getting this one. Overall, it's not a bad purchase, but I could've found something better in the end. However, I can't say I'm completely dissatisfied either. It's a decent machine. Provides good quality and is well-built. I use it constantly for watching literally everything, from high-resolution feature films to documentaries of the poorest quality. The price is reasonable (although it's cheaper abroad). Provides good image quality. High brightness — you can watch movies even in daylight. Well-assembled (although the appearance is simple, like three kopecks). Equipped with all necessary ports. Not all settings are available directly on the projector. But that's a minor issue. However, the fact that it is extremely noisy is hard to call a minor issue. And while in eco mode the noise isn't particularly bothersome, in normal mode it sometimes interferes with watching movies because the sound starts to really get on your nerves. It is somewhat comforting that when watching in complete darkness, eco mode is more than sufficient. use Viewsonic PJD7820HD month or more |
