Our summer season begins in May, when my mother-in-law moves to the country house. My wife and our two daughters join later, around the second week of June. As for me, I split my time between both places all summer long. I sometimes spend the night there and other times in our city apartment. Summer is my work season, so during the hot months, I rarely get to relax. But providing my women with a comfortable life is a must, it's sacred. We have water on the property from a well. Cooking gas is brought in as canisters, which last a long time. However, doing laundry was a bit of a hassle. We had to wash by hand. To make this task easier, I bought this simple semi-automatic washing machine. A pretty cool device, perfect for the cottage. The drum is small, but you can fit about 3-3.5 kg of bedding in it. There are only two programs: regular wash and delicate wash. It's pretty decent, nothing more is needed at the cottage, expensive cashmere fabrics are not a concern here )))) The wash timer, as well as the spin timer, is set manually, as you wish. It works great with well water, no pressure is required. It's inexpensive, many times cheaper than automatic machines. No water heating, you have to heat it manually. The washing quality is, honestly speaking, a three plus on a five-point scale. So pre-soaking is a must-have. The spin is also so-so, but compared to doing it by hand, it's better. So anyway, washing in such a machine with soaking is better than completely by hand. My wife and mother-in-law are happy and thankful. |
