The hardware basis of the Vinga WR-N150 wireless router is the Realtek low-cost platform, which includes an RTL8196E network processor that works with 5 RJ45 ports, and an RTL8192ER network controller that serves Wi-Fi connections in the 2.4 GHz band. The device is equipped with one external antenna with a gain of 5 dBi, which is enough to create network connections with a theoretical peak data rate of up to 150 Mbps (real maximum speed up to 100 Mbps). For an incoming connection to the provider's network, a WAN port is provided (up to 100 Mbps). Four LAN ports with similar speed characteristics are used to organize a small local area network. The router can handle typical household needs (FullHD streaming video, gaming, Internet messengers) and small office traffic (surfing, cloud services and web applications).
