It's been working for 9 years. About 3 years ago, the gasket on the portafilter wore out, and the portafilter itself started to fall apart. So, I purchased a similar model from another brand. It worked for 3 years and then broke down. So, I took the gasket and portafilter from it, put them in my old "Vitek," and have been using it like nothing ever happened.
