Cheap, metal, multiple modes, large LED. The package includes a weak battery, and to turn off the flashlight, you need to click through all the modes completely (I have another flashlight where you just hold the button and it smoothly turns off, but this one doesn't have that feature, even though their prices are more or less the same). |
The flashlight is decent if you have nothing to compare it with. If you compare it to a phone flashlight, it's much better; however, if you compare it to something superior, especially within its price category, it loses on all fronts. I ordered a bicycle light for 400 UAH for my bike, and when the season ended, and the power outages started, I used the bike light for general lighting because, for a second, with its smaller size, it lights up for 4-5 hours with much brighter intensity than this flashlight. This one lasts a maximum of three hours on a full charge. The main issue is the mismatch of the battery size. Even though it says 5800 or 6800, in fact, there's not even 2000mAh, which is a common issue with all Chinese batteries. If you want it to last longer, replace the battery with one from a well-known brand, but you should understand that the price for such a battery will be higher than the price of this flashlight. Secondly, the LED quality is poor; it supposedly shines with white light, but somehow it feels gray—maybe it has a temperature of 6000K, I don't know. One interesting feature is the large LED on the side panel, which I must admit is convenient. Charging is done via micro-USB, although it's high time to switch to Type-C everywhere. To turn off the flashlight, you have to click through all the modes (unlike a bicycle light where you just hold the button, and it turns off smoothly), and this is just stupid. There are four modes: 100% brightness, 50% brightness, strobe, and the side light. With the last two modes in the dark, your eyes will hurt before you manage to turn it off. Overall, it performs its functions. It has several modes. The LED on the side is convenient. Fully metallic housing. Battery mismatch with the stated specs Turns off only after cycling through all modes The cold light temperature looks gray instead of the usual white Comes with a clothing clip The mini USB port is set much lower than the edge of the body, requiring a cable with a long plug. And after all, it's 2024-25, yet we're using micro-USB. The large LED window is fixed on poles, which secures the COB in one position; if it falls out, the COB can "slide" back and forth along the guides. |

The weakest point is the included battery. It has some unbelievable claims about capacity, but it actually discharges very quickly. Replacing it with a decent 18650 from Samsung or Panasonic, I think the flashlight would only benefit.
In everyday use, it really helps: take it to the garage, light up something in the yard, or use it at home during blackouts. It's not perfect, but for simple tasks and with a reasonable battery, it's quite a usable option.
