The WD My Cloud EX2 Ultra is based on a dual-core Marvell ARMADA 385 processor (frequency 1.3 GHz), and the DDR3 RAM is 1 GB. The model supports data transfer at a speed of up to 1 Gbps via a LAN port, and two USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectors allow you to connect external devices for backup and additional data storage. Active cooling helps maintain stable system operation under intensive loads.

The NAS server has a rich set of software functions, including multimedia capabilities (DLNA, iTunes, uPnP), FTP server, print server, server video surveillance and BitTorrent client. Integration with such services as well as others allows you to customize the device for specific tasks, and the Chromecast and DDNS functions expand the possibilities of working with media and remote access.
